About No Time to Die Movie
After 18 months of delay, No Time to Die will finally make it into movie theaters, making Bond history in more than one way. The movie will also be the first in a Bond franchise to be screened in halls featuring new formats ScreenX and 4DX, a state-of-the-art development of movie technology that expands viewer experience outside of the movie screen.
The ScreenX format extends a specially selected sequence to the left and right walls of the hall, bringing a staggering 270-degree distance to the movie. The image naturally complements the viewer’s outward appearance, placing it in the center of the action. The sequence was hand-picked by MGM Studios, Eon Productions, and filmmakers in collaboration with CJ 4DPLEX.
4DX uses movement, vibration, water, air, snow, lightning, smell, and more to give viewers a variety of viewing experiences. The format includes seats designed for motion and various effects to immerse the audience in the movie world in an unprecedented way.
The results were created by a team of editors, which made the information available to all individual movies. Currently, there are more than 755 4DX halls in 65 different countries. No Time to Die is not the only major studio that has chosen this new technology. Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, Andy Serkis’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and Daniel Cretton’s Chang-Chi’s Dest Destiny and The Legend of the Ten Rings are some of the blockbuster blocks.
