He then returned to his apartment and was found dead on the sidewalk, through his window. A man wearing a baseball cap appears to be fleeing the scene, but his identity has not been established. However, Markus accuses the man of being Holt Rollins, a Shelter employee known for putting cell phones on his colleagues by recording their photos.
In the final part of the episode, an emotional conversation between Ingram and Poppy takes place, with the first one announcing his return to New York. Earlier, the two also discussed the case against Poppy, which Alana Cave had brought forward, alleging that Poppy’s Podcast was responsible for her husband’s death. The episode then ends with Poppy arriving at Micah’s house, where he sees his friend being brutally abused by Holt. Before Poppy calls the police, he is struck by an unidentified man behind his head.
