‘My Son’ in various locations in the Lochaber area of Scotland Highlands. According to initial reports, the recording was scheduled to begin in November 2021. However, local media reported that the production team was in Lochaber in mid-October, and the recording was expected to begin that week. But a member of staff in France tested positive for Covid-19, and the product was temporarily shut down. During this time, the cast and crew of ‘My Son’ stayed at the Ballachulish Hotel.
According to Rebecca O’Brien, one of the filmmakers, the credible test put the unit in the spotlight, adding that they separated the staff member from the results of the test and ensured that everyone in the unit was tested. Located off the west coast of Scotland, Loch Leven is a coastal loch of the Highlands. Not to be confused with the freshwater canal of the same name east of the Kinross mine in the Perth and Kinross metropolitan area. Glencoe is a picturesque town on the south coast of Loch Leven.
