Prey ’is a skeptical mansion-like in Germany that follows the tragic story of five men hiding while walking in the woods. What starts out as a pre-wedding trip with friends quickly turns into a battle for their lives when an innocent enemy attacks Roman and his friends with a shotgun from a distance. The Prey movie follows an old-fashioned “less than superficial” approach and gives us a glimpse of just enough backgrounds to illustrate a larger picture. If a deliberate account leaves you with a few questions, we are here to fill in the blanks.
Prey Movie Overview
The Prey movie opens with a scene with Roman and her boyfriend on a beach vacation, where they kiss. The captions of the two together appear throughout the movie from time to time. Then we were taken to a jungle in Germany, where five men paddled across the river. They are happy and make fun of each other until they reach the shore, after which they begin to climb into the deep forests. Prey movie.
The place is hilly, and one of them, Vincent, stumbles and is slightly saved from falling into a deep ravine by Roman. The men then continued on their way, discussing the company that Albert and Peter work for. It turns out that Roman, Albert’s younger brother, is also looking for a job in the company and has been promised another by his brother, who has not yet made a promise. Prey.
The group immediately began approaching their car when they suddenly heard gunshots. As they look around at the man with the gun, Vincent realizes that the bullet is in his arm, and he begins to bleed profusely. The men hurried into their car to escape, but a second bullet shot one of their tires. Now they realize that the mysterious shooter was actually targeting them and that the first shot was not a mistake, as they had previously hoped.
When their second attempt to get into their car resulted in another shot being fired at them, the men decided to hide in the woods and try to find the road on foot. Suddenly they came upon a woman standing by the river in an open field. The men shouted from a distance, asking him if he knew the closest way out of the forest. (Prey) In response, the woman silently grabbed a shotgun lying at her feet and shot Stefan in the head.
Some fled in panic and hid among the rocks, only to discover that Albert’s ankle was paralyzed. Somehow, they went to a nearby forested area, where the woman behind the counter allowed them to use the phone. However, before they could speak to the police, a bullet entered the window and killed the woman. After being shot again, Vincent dies in a hut, and three others run to a nearby house.
Here, Peter and Albert have an argument when Peter proposes to leave Albert while he and Roman go to seek help. (Prey) Peter then walked away alone and was shot. Meanwhile, Roman finds himself on the roof of a house where he finds images on a computer of young drunk boys in the woods who have stumbled upon a mother and child by a river. An argument between them led to a young child being shot.
Roman then realized that the woman he was shooting at was the baby’s mother and returned to where her brother Albert was resting. As she passes Albert’s phone, trying to get a signal, she finds out that her brother has been having an affair with her boyfriend, Lisa. Disgusted, the Romans left and finally managed to escape behind a mysterious woman.
After a short struggle, he manages to pull out a gun. (Prey) The woman emerges from the cliff as her last step, leaving Roman lying alone in the woods with a gun. Thus, Rome is able to survive death, even though a mysterious shooter shoots a bullet into her thigh. Now, having a gun and their attacker possibly dead, Roman has a good chance of surviving. However, because it is getting late and he is in the middle of a forest with no light source, Roman has a difficult night ahead of him, which is made worse by his injured leg.
Roman will probably wait until the morning before returning to his brother Albert. Albert’s fate was unclear as he was shot in the shoulder and bled profusely. (Prey) He, too, will have to sleep in the woods all night and wait until the morning before trying to escape. However, if you think his foot is badly injured, Albert’s future lies very much in the hands of his brother Roman.
This adds another powerful twist to the climax because Roman has just discovered Albert’s love for her boyfriend Lisa and leaves his brother in disgust. (Prey) However, the fact that the Roman fashion fashions Albert’s band before leaving him tells us that he still cares for his brother and may come to his rescue at sunrise. Although the two brothers may have survived, their relationship seemed to be irreparably damaged.
The mysterious shooter turns out to be a woman named Eva, a traumatized mother who lost her child and lives in the jungle. The hut in which Rome stumbled was her own, and she lives alone for an unexpected time, surrounded by toys and little things that belonged to her daughter. Seeing the interior of the hut, it seems that Eve was there for a long time and also lived there while her daughter was still alive.
What is difficult is finding out how long her daughter has been dead. Another clue is that all of her daughter’s belongings look clean and in good working order, (Prey) pointing to the fact that this tragedy may have happened recently. Another point that supports this view is that if Eve had spent months shooting at pedestrians in the woods, word of her crime might have reached the authorities now, and she would have been arrested.
Therefore, Romanian friends may have been among the first few victims, and her daughter’s death has also recently taken place. Eventually, when the Romans managed to snatch the gun from her, Eve returned to the edge of the cliff and probably died. Throughout the movie, her speech remains stoic (except for the flashback, when her daughter dies), making Eve a mischievous character who portrays the traits of the victim and the villain.
Anne is the daughter of Eva, who was killed in an accident involving a small pedestrian that happened to be a mother and daughter in the woods. (Prey) According to drawings Roman found in Eva’s hut, the little boys were drunk and carrying hunting rifles when they found Eva and Anne by the river.
When Eva tried to stop them from photographing her and her daughter, one of their guns accidentally killed Anne. The boys then run away, leaving their camera, which is how Eva has pictures of what happened. It is also possible that one of the boys dropped his gun while fleeing, and this could be the gun Eva has used since then.
All of Eve’s motives for wanting to harm Rome and her allies seem to have taken vengeance in an indirect way. In her grief over the death of her daughter, the mother is seen venting her anger on any pedestrians she finds in the forest, perhaps comparing them to those who killed her daughter. (Prey) If he thinks that Anne was killed by a group of young men, he may see Rome and his entire party as close associates and kill them one by one.
