Truth Be Told Season 2 Episode 4 ‘In Another Life’ and can refer to the secret life of Micah’s husband Joshua Joshua who seemed to be living without the knowledge of his wife. This includes the son she was hiding from him, and other secrets as well, which may come out as the investigation into her life deepens. Another life is so far unknown that season 2 seems to be exploring is that of Poppy’s father, Shreve, who no doubt had a fascinating life as a respected leader of a powerful cycling team. As his memory fades, he tries to record his memories, and the next episode will likely give us more quotes from his childhood days.
Finally, we can expect the amazing climax from episode 3 to be discussed in a future episode. Ramon’s death is an unexpected mystery, and, given that he was one of the main suspects in Joshua’s assassination, it opens the hunt for the suspects as well. We would expect Poppy to dig into Ramon’s life to find the connection between his murder and Joshua, which would reveal interesting details. Truth Be Told Season 2 Episode 3 begins with Poppy recording an episode of his podcast in which he asks why Joshua kept his son a secret from Micah and how Drew and Joshua found each other after being separated for so long. We are then shown Ramone alone in Micah’s house, where he comes and hugs Joshua’s clothes, pointing to a secret relationship between the two.
The mystery deepens when Micah throws his assistant under the bus by informing the detective that Ramon has a history of physical abuse, making him a quick suspect in the murders of Joshua and Drew. We then heard Ramon’s side of the story when he revealed to Poppy that the person who had beaten him when he was young was a boy who used to bully him. However, before Poppy erases Ramon’s name, he is found dead in his apartment.
