‘Heels’ is set in a small town in Georgia and is recorded in many parts of the province. Season 1 recordings took place mainly locally but were delayed several times for various reasons. Production began on February 3, 2020, but was soon interrupted by the Covid 19 epidemic. Leading actor Stephen Amell reportedly suffered from the disease but fortunately recovered.
