Directed by Tran Quoc Bao in his first play, ‘The Paper Tigers’ is a comedy kung fu movie full of compelling characters and wall-to-wall action. The story focuses on three prodigies for children growing up to have daily activities. However, their lives are in jeopardy with the passing away of their mentor. They set out on a journey to bring justice to their late master while they worked during the day. Most of the story comes from behind the city, a restaurant, and a temporary booth. The Paper Tigers Movie Filming Locations
‘The Paper Tigers’ was completely recorded in the US, especially in Washington. The filming took place during a solid time of more than a month in the summer of 2019, although a few scenes were reportedly shot in the months before it was wrapped up in November 2019, according to the movie director. Tran Quoc Bao also revealed that the movie was recently produced for about 8-9 months from September 2019 to August 2020. The Paper Tigers movie is based on martial arts. Shoreline, Washington Location
In addition, The Paper Tigers, the director, and his actors, and his staff owe the movie office of the City of Shoreline for releasing them filming at certain locations in the city. Some scenes were filmed in Cromwell Park and on the coast of Richmond Beach. A few of the sequences were taken from the Circrest Residential Habilitation Center, a rehabilitation center located at 15230 15th Avenue Northeast, in the city. The Firland Sanatorium, located in the modern-day Richmond Highlands on the Shoreline, also serves as one of the photography sites. Seattle, Washington Location
Most of The Paper Tigers movies were filmed in various locations in Seattle and Washington. Seattle is the city where Bruce Lee lives. In the act of taxation, the director chose to movie a large movie in a historic and culturally rich region in the Chinatown-International District of Seattle. Another sequel was recorded at the Dynasty Room restaurant, a restaurant located at 714 South King Street in the city. Tai Tung Restaurant, another restaurant located at 655 South King Street, has also borrowed its production area.
A few large scenes were recorded at Nisei Veteran’s Committee Memorial Hall, a non-profit business located at 1212 South King Street in Seattle. Another large sequel carved away from the hall, in the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience, shows what is happening in Asia-American. The museum is located at 719 South King Street.
Citizens and local businesses of the city have shown great love and product support. Staff also visited China Harbor Restaurant, a restaurant located at 2040 Westlake Avenue North, to capture some of the scenes. Wing (Yuji Okumoto) waits for a restaurant in the movie. Scenes placed in the restaurant were shot in the area.
Located on 506 2nd Avenue in Pioneer Square in Seattle, Smith Tower also serves as one of the recording studios. Canton Alley South stands in the corridor behind the restaurant.
Another successive list has been recorded at Mak Fai Washington Kung Fu Club, a martial arts club located at 606 Maynard Avenue South 107, in the same city.
