Evil Season 2 Episode 6: Review
In Evil Season 2 Episode 6 ‘C is for Cop,’ Officer Jim Turley shot an unarmed Black woman in his car, thinking he saw her fetching a gun, and in fact, the mother was just looking at her cellphone. Turley blames the evil spirit that drove him to do so, and as expected, Ben, David, and Kristen were called in to investigate.
Evidence led them to a group of police officers who declared themselves not to be safe inside the NYPD. The sigil tattoo found in Turley is associated with a series of ‘Justice Served’ series, which promotes immoral police brutality.
Founder Mick Carr then began to brag about his vision of establishing equality by glorifying fascism and arrogance. Turley walks away unharmed, and police everywhere pile up Ben and David. Elsewhere, Mira Byrd accuses Anya of forcing her boyfriend to kill Orson, but when her alibi checks in, Mira searches Kristen’s belongings, hoping to find a murder weapon.
Filled with fear, Kristen asks Lexis to cover her, but Sheryl advises her to tell the truth. Kristen begins to have visions of Orson entering her yard, and almost naturally, she comes out holding an ax when Mira and Anya arrive.
Having no other choice, Kristen agrees with Mira, who decides to call one of her friends to erase Kristen’s name from LeRoux’s murder. We also learn that Ben took part in genetic testing, which resulted in the implantation of mutated embryos in women.
David suggests that Ben should ask for a bigger apology in order to continue, like the post. The next thing Ben does is go to the office and apologize to the postmaster.
