Control Z Season 2 Ending, Review
Control Z Season 2, picks up quickly from the last Control Z Season 1, with Javier bleeding on the street after being accidentally shot. Drugs come to take him away, and then we take two months onwards when the normal school life seems to be slowly starting anew at the National School. However, at Luis’ memorial, all students began to receive shocking videos of the deceased student’s face labeled “You Can’t Bury In The Past.” Shocked, Alex was soon arrested in an empty classroom. Ernesto and Dario were also buried alive and abducted in the cemetery but were saved by Sofia’s quick thinking.
Meanwhile, Raúl decides to return to school and is repeatedly beaten by students whose life has been ruined by revealing their secrets. The principal, Quintanilla, has not been able to expel a psychopathic student since Raúl is still in charge of the principal’s love affair with the teacher (Susana). The wealthy politician’s son, whose parents have been imprisoned, lives alone in his abandoned palace where he confronts Gerry, who fled after accidentally shooting Javier. Raúl is also seen in many places where students are attacked but he is able to convince Sofia that he is not a “revenge” who is hurting students like revenge for Luis’ death.
Throughout the school year, Sofia and Javier continued their tumultuous friendships and also actively investigated the avenger, trying to establish his identity. A visit to Luis’ home reveals that what happened to the students is all depicted in the drawings of the deceased student. Thus, it seems that the unscrupulous bully of the school is also fulfilling Luis’ wishes. The only crime that doesn’t go with the drawings is Raúl’s attack, in which a mysterious assailant makes all his money out of an ill-gotten rich man’s safe. Control Z Season 2.
Control Z Season 2: Who is the Avenger?
Sofia soon finds herself being targeted by the avenger, who turns the pills in her bottle. It was later revealed that he had not actually swallowed the pills and was trying to mislead the mysterious abuser. The avenger is later revealed to be Alex, who escorts Gerry and Raúl at night to the school building at night, where he forces Gerry to send an apology video to Luis.
Still dissatisfied, he pointed a gun at Gerry and conducted an online poll, asking students if he should be allowed to live or die. Results are coming in, and polls suggest the young student’s death. Seeing the post online, Sofia and Javier rushed to the roof of the school and tried to calm Alex down.
While tensions were building on the roof, Maria and her friend broke into Luis’ closet, where they were told that the attacker had hidden the stolen money from Raúl. They were caught by Susana, who had replaced Quintanilla as the school’s principal, and was brought to the roof. (Control Z Season 2) The principal is shocked to see a dangerous situation playing on the school building and tries to control the situation. Soon, however, an argument broke out over the wallet, which resulted in Susana and the wallet falling to the ground.
The season draws to a close with Pablo encountering the headmaster’s severely injured body. He quickly picks up a bag full of money that has fallen next to him and begins to leave, leaving the bleeding on the side of the road.
Thus, the avenger who had been harassing the students since Luis’ death was eventually identified as Alex. As Sofia noted at the beginning of the show, Luis was one of the few people Alex met, and although he did not show up, he felt very sorry for the death of an innocent student. (Control Z Season 2) His main goal in harassing and injuring students with technology was to make them feel bad like him and not just to continue their carefree life without admitting the tragedy. He was a fan of Luis’ art, which is probably why he put his attacks on his paintings.
Interestingly, none of Alex’s buildings, although designed to kill, actually killed anyone. Sofia learns from this and realizes that although the angry student wanted to get his classmates to pay, he never wanted to hurt one of them. Even though Alex gets a chance to kill Gerry, the boy directly responsible for Luis’ death, he fails to do so and conducts an online survey so the entire student body can decide on his fate.
When there is strong support for Gerry to be killed, he still does not kill her but instead threatens to shoot her if she does not interfere with the school building. Alex, therefore, is not a cruel psychopath who people expect the avenger to be but is just a student who can find a place for his great sorrow and guilt. Control Z Season 2.
