The Chosen Season 2 Episode 8: Synopsis
The end of season 2 of Chosen will probably focus on Jesus and the disciples completing the preaching preparations. Depending on the number of people who attend, the Pharisees and Quintus may reconsider Jesus’ threat to Rome. Word of Jesus’ miracles has spread throughout Jerusalem, and more people can come than expected. As a result, the students had to work very hard. Jesus will probably perform another miracle that will truly strengthen him as the Messiah in the minds and hearts of those preaching the good news.
The Chosen Season 2 Episode 7: Review
The Chosen Season 2 Episode 7 ‘Counting’ and opens with Atticus visiting Quintus. He reveals that he has critical knowledge of Jesus of Nazareth. Meanwhile, Jesus is sent to fish for Jesus. Jesus continues to plan his sermon. The disciples expressed doubts about Jesus’ plan as they did not fully understand the details. Jesus explains to them that everyone has a role to play in this sermon and that killing is more important than planning.
Roman soldiers led by Atticus went to Jereselaum to arrest Jesus. Simon and Andrew continue fishing and remember their childhood. They also discuss what happened to Mary Magdalene, and Andrew is worried about the imprisonment of John the Baptist. Andrew was also afraid that Jesus would be arrested. While they were arguing, they saw the Pharisees coming.
Jesus willingly agrees to go with the Pharisees. The disciples discuss how Jesus will be released. Jesus finally meets Quintus in the presence of Atticus. Quintus releases Jesus as he does not see Jesus as a threat. Jesus returns to the camp, and the disciples are relieved. Later that night, Jesus resurrects Matthew to a special assignment.
