Space Cowboys ’is an entertaining movie that follows four retired pilots as they embark on a dangerous journey into space. With iconic Clint Eastwood as director, producer, and one of the directors, the film features a star-studded star-studded star-studded comedy, show, and space.

Los Angeles County, California
The recording took place mostly in Los Angeles County. The town of Santa Clarita was used to record several scenes, with its many neighboring Canyon Country and Saugus scenes. Halfway House Cafe, located at 15564 Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita, and the area near Agua Dulce also served as shooting Space Cowboys. Lensing also took place in the Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park, located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia, Santa Clarita.
The former Rockwell Defense Plant, located near Bellflower Boulevard and the Imperial Highway in the town of Downey southeast of Los Angeles County was used by a production team to make a film. The building of fame has since been closed.
Space Cowboys scenes that required extensive use of special effects were filmed at Warner Brothers Studios at 4000 Warner Boulevard in Burbank in the San Fernando Valley. Soundstages 22, 23, and 29 have been especially used to shoot several ‘Space Cowboys’ scenes. ‘Large sets of detailed descriptions of these scenes have been created, including those showing the interior of the spacecraft and the satellite of Russia. The Mission Control set is reportedly built using actual plans from NASA.
In addition, scenes of weighted characters were also recorded in the production process using a variety of methods, including cable-work, platforms, and wheelchairs. Cord lines have been used to set things up and make views more realistic.
The Space Cowboys movie found another boost in authenticity with a recording that took place at Cape Canaveral, which was the site of many rocket launchers. The Kennedy Space Center, located near Space Commerce Way on Merritt Island in Florida, was used to record scenes involving the main characters preparing for their flight and sitting on the shuttle.
A real launchpad, a seating area, and a suite room used by real NASA astronauts often appear in squares where the characters are preparing for space.
A group of producers spent a lot of time at the NASA Johnson Space Center, also known as the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, recording scenes of four major characters preparing for their flight. The magnificent authenticity shown by the movie is the result of the many experimental astronauts in the training they do at the facility, located at 2101 East NASA Parkway in downtown Houston.
The Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory at the Sonny Carter Training Facility was one of the many facilities in the building used in production. The production team also used the nearby Outpost Tavern in Webster to record the battlefield. Repeatedly repeated by NASA astronauts and the public for more than 20 years, the popular bar is already closed.
Other Places in California
The March Air Reserve Base, located in North West Riverside County between the cities of Riverside, Moreno Valley, and Perris, was used to record scenes with the mysterious Lockheed SR-71 “Blackbird” aircraft.
Scenes set up at Edwards Air Force Base were actually shot at El Mirage Dry Lake in Victor Valley in San Bernardino County. The nearby town of Victorville also seemed to be used for recording. Piru United Methodist Church, located at 3875 Center Street in the historic town of Piru in Ventura County, also briefly portrays the film as one of the Parish of Tank Sullivan.
