Season 2 of ‘Succession’ started on August 11, 2019, at HBO Network, while the season ended its performance on October 13, 2019. The second season consists of ten episodes running 65 minutes each.
As for Succession Season 3, the good news is that it was given a green light on August 20, 2019. However, the production team had to deal with a lot of uncertainty, which is probably why the first release date has yet to be revealed. The recording process has taken a toll due to the delays caused by Covid-19. According to sources, the third season was scheduled to begin recording in the spring of 2020 but could only begin in late 2020. In an interview in June 2021, major producer Georgia Pritchett revealed that the show could run for a period of five seasons, even though it looked like four cycles were more likely. The main characters in the series are Logan Roy as Brian Cox and his children Kendall Roy as Jeremy Strong, Siobhan “Shiv” Roy as Sarah Snook, Roman Roy as Kieran Culkin, and Connor Roy as Alan Ruck. Other key figures in the story are Greg Hirsch as Nicholas Braun, Marcia Roy as Hiam Abbass, Frank Vernon as Peter Friedman, and Tom Wambsgans as Matthew Macfadyen. Therefore, the actors who play these characters will also play their roles.

Josh is an investor activist who participates in the struggle to become a Waystar owner, while Lukas is the founder and CEO of a successful technology company.
Succession Season 3 Episode 1 Plot
Towards the end of season 2, we learn that Tom and Shiv’s marriage is on the verge of collapse, with Roman being named as the new COO of Waystar. But what stood out was that Kendall dropped the bomb during a press conference that changed the whole Logan and Waystar game. It was decided that Kendall should take the company’s mistakes. But instead, he chooses to expose his father; he even publicly denounces her as a liar and a bully.
Season three will take place at the end of Season 2, marking the beginning of a quarrel between father and son that could set the whole family on fire. As Logan finds himself in a precarious situation, he will do whatever it takes to protect the future of his family and his company.
