Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Season 2 Plot
At the end of season 1, it is revealed that Wilson has created an army of infected soldiers who want to sell them for a profit. Leon and Claire discover the truth differently and find a place where Wilson keeps his converted soldiers.
Jason appears and transforms into a mutant and bites Wilson. This pushes the facility into the self-harming mode and knocks down all the rooms that contain special forces in what looks like acid. Leon prevents Jason from going upstairs and exposing himself. The latter dies after falling into acid.
It is revealed that Tricell’s company is behind Wilson’s work. The season ends as Leon refuses Claire’s request for a chip that contains all the details of Wilson’s actions, knowing that if this comes out, it will have serious consequences in America.
If season 2 decides to stick to the same characters, we can finally see that Leon is forced to choose between doing the right thing and what his job is. Leon and Claire parted ways on good terms. Their reunion will probably not be particularly enjoyable.
Tricell could use Wilson’s research to create more infected soldiers, and their experiments could eventually lead to another disease. Other recurring characters in the drama series, such as Ada Wong and Jill Valentine, may appear in the ‘Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Season 2’.
