Bravo’s ‘Top Chef Amateurs’ is a cooking competition show that can especially appeal to ‘Top Chef’ fans around the world, as it is a continuation of a long-running program. It features a total of 24 home-grown chefs with one ‘Top Chef’ All-Star who pretends to be their chief, as they fight for cash prizes, and, of course, bragging rights. Top Chef Amateurs Show Filming Locations
The ‘Top Chef Amateurs‘ began filming in late October 2020, following the conclusion of the 18th season of ‘Top Chef Amateurs’. ‘Since season 18 took place in Portland, it’s no surprise that a series of spin-offs have been shot in the same place.
One of the reasons local chefs think that participating in ‘Top Chef Amateurs,’ an opportunity that comes once in a lifetime, is the value of the kitchen used in it. The exhibition, based in Portland, Oregon, is being filmed at the Portland Expo Center, the same facility used for the 18th ‘Top Chef’ season. Portland’s ‘Top Chef Amateurs’ kitchen is a masterpiece set that includes bikes set on raised platforms, a menu on the board, a bright “New & local” sign, and other amazing features. Reports suggest that the recording should continue using the same health and safety system as followed in the regular ‘Top Chef Amateurs’ times.

During Portland’s ‘Top Chef’, producers were unable to record the show significantly due to the 2020 Oregon wildfire, constantly disrupting the production process. Because of the smoke from wildfires, they had to make many changes in their journey.
It is thought that there was no such problem during the spin-off series which was why it managed to create turmoil in the food entertainment industry.
