Los Angeles County is the first recording site for ‘Charlie’s Angels’. ’Part of the opening montage featuring Drew Barrymore’s character, Dylan, was shot at the Venice High School Gym, located at 13000 Venice Boulevard. Another scene featuring Cameron Diaz’s Natalie, filmed at the Los Angeles Theater, located at 615 South Broadway. Some scenes were filmed near the Gas Company Building at 555 West Fifth Street. A series of chases were recorded at Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro. The filming took place at Fosters Freeze, a branch of the famous 1624 Cravens Avenue restaurant in Torrance.
