‘Terminator 2’ was completely recorded in the US, especially in California and New Mexico. The filming of the film began on October 9, 1990, and ended on March 28, 1991. The building is now being approved as a Mattson Technology office. The staff set up a reception area for the building, but they tore it down.
The opening series presents a terrifying view of a city devastated by a nuclear explosion. The situation was filmed at Kaiser Steel Mill which was demolished in Fontana on the edge of San Bernardino County, east of Los Angeles. Staff used the 1989 1989 Universal Studio’s backlot fire debris to fill the scenes. Chicago, Illinois
Some parts of the final show of ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day were filmed far away in downtown Chicago in northeastern Illinois. Famous for its filmmakers around the world, the city has also served as a filming venue for many films, including ‘Candyman,’ ‘Fargo,’ ‘Shameless,’ ‘Ozark,’ and ‘Batman. ‘
