Fruits Basket Season 3 Episode 9 Synopsis
Fruits Basket season 3 episode 8, Kyo asks Tooru if he loves her. He does not respond verbally, but his silence would be sufficient to assure him of the truth. Trapped in a strange and self-deprecating affair, Kyo tries to tell Tooru why he should insult her. She reveals that she knew her mother when she was young.
Kyoko was one of the first few people to be kind to her. In time, they became close friends. Kyoko showed him a photo of Tooru. One day, when Kyo came to see Kyoko, she found that he had not found Tooru. After that, he spent a long time looking for the little girl but could not find her. Finally, Kyoko arrived and informed him that Toro had been found.
When she heard that Yuki had found Tooru, she scolded Kyoko and ran away. She never came back to see him again. Several years later, Kyo saw Kyoko on the sidewalk. He saw the driver lose control of their vehicle, and it was aimed at him. He could have pulled Kyoko back on his way but he didn’t, fearing it would cause his change. He carried all that big guilt on his shoulders for a while until he decided to throw everything away from Yuki.
After hearing Kyo’s confession, Tooru says his feelings have not changed. Kyo runs, and Yuki follows him. Meanwhile, Akito comes out with a knife he has just used to stab Kureno. In episode 9, Akito may attack Tooru, believing that the latter will face broken curses. Seeing Tooru’s situation, Kyo can finally accept his feelings for her.
