British Columbia – “Kamloops”
From season 4 onwards, the recording of ‘Van Helsing’ also took place in the suburbs of Kamloops in south-central British Columbia. According to one of the program’s authors, Jackie May, the open desert-like and numerous streams in the area have strongly encouraged the producers’ team to have a well-written recording of the Kamloops season.
The filming also took place at the historic Tranquille Farm Fresh located at 4600 Tranquille Rd, Kamloops. The construction of these historic farms dates back almost a hundred years, during which time they were abandoned from time to time. The recording of the first three episodes of ‘Van Helsing’ season 5 takes place in Bratislava and around Slovakia in January and February 2020.
