Line of Duty Season 7: Release Date

Line of Duty season 7. Has it been confirmed yet? The BBC is yet to confirm whether Line of Duty is renewed for Line of Duty Season 7. Currently, the series has been released for season 6. In an interview with Radio Times, Jed sheds light on the situation: in a situation where it is not entirely clear that there will be the seventh season.

We can hope that it can. But we will have to make our planning out of COVID 19, as well as a lot of other things around the idea that these things are not guaranteed at all now. We were talking to the BBC about the long life of the series. I have had the experience of broadcasters pulling the plug while we were creating a news story – Bodies and Cardiac Arrest both ended prematurely on the BBC.

It is worth noting that Jed wrapped things up with encouraging details: “Without the official commission, I would say that the talks were very encouraging to me in the sense that I don’t have to wrap things up.” Line of Duty Season 7 Speaking to the media, Martin Compston (Steve Arnott) said about the future:

It may be over and we may come back. But as I think we have referred before, on a personal level  I think it would be a shame to go that way, but definitely, with Jed,

There is always corruption outside, as [Jed] would say, but at the same time when there are so many great questions being answered in this series, there are always open limits.

Similarly, Adrian Dunbar (Ted Hastings) is quoted as saying: “

I mean we will all reach out to Jed and say, ‘We have to do something different when we are in jail’. We have to do one thing back to the ground, there we are, in the city, having fun. It’s a beautiful city to have fun in, Belfast, so you want to get back to doing that again. “Season 6 of Line of Duty to continues on BBC.
