Bridgerton Season 2: Spoilers

If you are a fan of Julia Quinn’s novel, you may have taken the importance of the little bee at the end of year 1. In Julia’s book, The Viscount Who Loved Me, Anthony becomes Viscount Bridgerton when his father dies from a bee sting. Throughout the novel, bees become an integral part of the story as Anthony’s love interest, Kate, is mentioned later in the book.

Now that it has been confirmed that the show will continue to follow the novels (season 1 coincides with the events in Julia’s first Bridgerton book, The Duke and I), season 2 will focus more on Anthony’s quest for a more complete play about Simon and Daphne’s life together.

Presenter Chris Van Dusen confirmed this when he spoke to Collider.com about the future of the game. Hold on to Anthony’s love story. We’re also exploring Benedict’s relationship with Collin, and Eloise. I think it’s a deep source of information. It’s a story we should investigate.

Bridgerton Season 2: Plot

The drama took place in Regency-era London in tone in 1813, focusing on the elite Bridgerton family. Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton is the mother of 8 children: her 4 sons, Anthony, Gregory, Colin, and Benedict, and her 4 daughters, Hyacinth, Francesca, Eloise, and Daphne.

Other highlights from their sharp neighbors, Featheringtons: Portia, Lady Featherington; her husband Baron; and their three daughters, Philippa, Prudence, and Penelope; and their mysterious cousin Marina Thompson. Each episode includes an account by actress Julie Andrews, who mentions an anonymous and often humiliating author of the magazine known as Lady Whistledown.

Lady Whistledown knows all about London, and everyone focuses on the story of Lady Whistledown, even Queen Charlotte.

As the eldest daughter Daphne Bridgerton enters her first season favored by Queen Charlotte, she meets Simon Bassett, Duke of Hastings and a close friend of her older brother, Anthony. Despite being encouraged by her mentor, Lady Danbury, the Emperor is determined to stay single and conspire with Daphne to secure her bachelordom and a suitable marriage.
