Launched on Netflix back in September 2019, the show finally got its second season dropping off CobraKai on January 1, 2021. The show managed to stay on the top 10 Mexican charts for 27 days while performing well in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Panama, and Honduras.
The show was also able to appear on top10 TV charts in America in a few days as well. But now, it looks like the show is over with no season 3 set for the future.
That happens without Monarca season 2 ending in an excellent cliffhanger which makes it hard to recommend a show view if you haven’t already done it. The news was closely followed by the Mexican tv show (Monarca) center Sensacine which said on March 26 that the return of the show is increasingly unlikely to cite two of the show’s best Instagram posts. In an Instagram post on March 26, Osvaldo Benavides said
“If there is no news. I say bye to Andres Carranza. What a wonderful project. Thank you to all and all of us who have been there. Stop being so proud of your participation. Get out and say bye.” or they do not end.

“I am very happy, moved, and amazed at all the news, which I believe has been confirmed by the Netflix platform to announce that Monarca’s third season has been canceled.

Luis Miguel is probably the biggest show from the region right now with the recent arrival of Who Killed Sara? already scheduled for the Monarch second season later in 2021.
