Best Features of Kia Sonet – Sonet Vs Hyundai Venu

 Sonet is manufactured on the same platform having different designs, Kia Sonet appears boxy whereas Venue appears car-like, KIA Sonet is Introduced with IMT(Intelligent Manual Transmission) option if we check competition than except Hyundai Venue none of the sub 4 meter SUV is coming to with this option, KIA Sonet  

Features look and features wise it appears leading the segment KIA Sonet is offered with

Hyundai venue falls short of features if compare with KIA 

For example – Hyundai Venue only has a semi-digital instrument panel,

Sonet Dimensions If we compare with the Nearest competition Hyundai venue then – unlike Hyundai venue.

 Sonet is coming with an automatic option in the diesel variant, in terms of dimension KIA, which is yet to confirm. Set size but considering it’s based on the venue platform for reference 

 Hyundai Venueis 3,995 mm long, 

 1,770 mm wide and  

1,590 mm height 

Boot space of 350 liters,  

We are expecting almost similar boot space and cabin space in KIA 

 Sonet Engines vs Competition  

We compare with the nearest competition Hyundai venue, then we find Both Sonet and Hyundai venue are powered with 1.2 liters naturally aspirated petrol engine and 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, The 1.2-liter unit generates 82 bhp, 115 Nm of peak torque, and will be available with a five-speed manual gearbox.  

The turbocharged petrol engine puts out 119 bhp, 172 Nm, and will be offered with a choice between a six-speed manual gearbox, IMT transmission, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. 

KIA Sonet price shall be revealed in the next 1-2 weeks, however, are expecting it to be a little more expensive than Hyundai venue due to multiple segment-first and additional features still it shall be kept competitive to attract a larger number of buyers, currently, Hyundai Venue’s price in India starts from ₹6.7 lakh and goes all the way to ₹11.5 lakh.
